Jack Altizer (Partner) was born in 1936 and moved with his family to the Roanoke Valley in 1973. Jack began a solo general law practice specializing in the areas of personal injury, divorce, criminal offenses, and bankruptcy. He served as Assistant Commonwealth Attorney of Kanawha County, West Virginia and for the City of Roanoke, Virginia.

Jack is an experienced trial attorney and has successfully tried major medical malpractice cases and murder cases. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1959 and received his law degree from West Virginia University in 1962.

He and his daughter Bettina Altizer formed the firm of Altizer & Altizer in Roanoke, VA in 1991.They practice exclusively in personal injury, with a special emphasis on medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, auto accident lawsuits in Roanoke.
